I am a second year PhD student, working in the Materials, Devices and Circuit Simulation Laboratory, advised by Prof. Vladimir Mitin. My research interests span Semiconductor Physics, Quantum Transport in nanostructures, TeraHertz applications. Having found my research interests and people who are experts in the field I decided to continue my PhD after my Masters in this department. Prof. Mitin is a great teacher and a wonderful person to work with; he motivates and gives me freedom of thought and expression, and supports to execute my ideas.

This department is a great place of opportunities. Given the comprehensiveness of our faculty within the department, there are a wide range of research topics, like Communication and Signal Processing, Semiconductor Fabrication, Circuit design and applications, Energy Systems. The curriculum designed provides a borad and rigorous exposure to the fundamentals of electrical engineering. It's a wonderful experience as curiousity, passion and learning are all found to be intimately intertwined admist students around.
